Listen to a softer, unplugged expression of Meera’s divine devotion to her Lord Krishna. This well known Bhajan “Mhara re giridhar gopal dusara na koiyaa” conveys Meera’s love and devotion to Krishna; for her there is no one else. In this version of the Bhajan, where minimal instruments have been used, the singers explore the deep passion and divinity of the original. In addition a small Bandish and Alaap played on the Sitar have been woven into the Bhajan to bring out the beauty of raga Miya Malhar.
