Video of Davy's version of George Harrison's song, made available especially to mark UNICEF's Month Of Giving Campaign, August 2011. This recording was produced by - & features the guitar playing of - legendary British musician Peter Frampton, for Davy's second album 'Coming Up For Air'. Davy was first hooked by Frampton's sound when he heard his recording of George Harrison's song 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'. 'Hear Me Lord' was written by George Harrison and released on his album 'All Things Must Pass' in 1970; Peter Frampton actually played session guitar on that record (which was also co-produced by Phil Spector). The following year, on August 1st 1971, George Harrison and Ravi Shankar brought together a star studded cast of musicians for The Concert for Bangladesh - one of the most ambitious humanitarian efforts in music history. The Grammy winning album of the concert makes its digital debut on iTunes for the 40th anniversary of the show, with sales benefitting the George Harrison Fund for Unicef. CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE
