Breakdown of the Houly Rock. Houly was a Houdini challenge in July 2020, where everyday you make something in Houdini. Step by step in the video each node is the network will be shown. Starting with making the base shapes by scattering points and copy a platonic shape on it. Further noises or triplanar displacement is used to get the detail into the shapes. A cool part in the video as well is how to procedural color them. The color is stored in the point/vertex and could be baked into a texture that you could use in other programs to finalize the material. This Breakdown share similar appraoches like my previous rock tool
