Today, we're restoring a retro first-generation 16-bit gaming console, originally released in 1988! While we don’t have the exact original model, we do have a replica of the Japanese version, likely from around 1994. I picked up this console at a local street sale in rough condition—it was sold for parts, as it wasn’t functioning. What immediately caught my eye was the console’s outer shell, which had been painted—probably with varnish—that was now peeling off, reminiscent of old, worn-out car paint. Restoring it looked like a real challenge, but I couldn’t resist giving it a try. Let’s get started! Welcome to the channel, and enjoy the video!
