This video is an excerpt from my keynote. I'm addressing conference attendees on the first day of the event. Too often our body language does not align with our intentions. Of course, we have to set intentions to begin with. Questions to ask yourself before going to a conference: Why this event, this event in particular? Who do you hope to meet? What do you hope to learn? What inspiration are you looking for? Once you have those answers, apply the tips in this video to help you navigate those chaotic hallways so you actually meet people and make connections. Conferences hold the promise of in-person connection with like-minded colleagues. Make that promise a reality! Do you host a conference or convention and want your attendees to feel that your event was incredibly valuable because of all the connections they made? I work with associations and companies to design events that increase engagement and create a welcoming culture for all attendees, especially your first-time attendees. The result is that long-time attendees, presenters, and board members have a host mentality and all attendees have the tools to strategically build relationships and their professional network at your event. If you want to increase ROI for your attendees and therefore their retention, contact me to schedule a call. Learn more at .
