This is what I love the most... A difficult hunt with a reward at the end. I was “complaining“ about the huge Roman coin appearing a little bit “too soon“ during one of my previous hunts ( ). The metal detecting Gods must have read my comments and kept this time a special find till the very end. But first things first... The hunt started with foil. I skipped this particular spot subconsciously until now, for a good reason (yes, psychic powers are real). Sooner or later I begin to question my decisions, still not believing in myself. Even for me after so many hunts this sounds unbelievable. It was a hunt with some amazing finds (in my opinion). The hammered silver coin from 1630 looked exactly the same as the one from my previous hunt ( ). Although I found it at some distance, I wonder if it was lost by the same person that simply moved across both spots. More info on the coin:
