Compilation of early material from Justin K Broadrick's Jesu project, combining the “Heart Ache“ EP originally released in 2004 and the previously unreleased “Dethroned“ EP, which was partially completed in 2004 but not finished until the release of this album in 2010. The first two tracks in particular are among Jesu's heaviest material and not far from Godflesh at times. This is Japanese pressing from Daymare Recordings which includes a bonus remix of the final track “I Can Only Disappoint You“.
