The Cabin is Growing! Extending the front of the Dovetail Log Cabin | Episode 1

I have started the biggest project since completing the cabin - I am extending the cabin! After moving into the cabin full time, I decided that I needed a bit more space. The original cabin was built with a large overhang on the front of the cabin. This was done on purpose so that I could eventually extend the cabin if I desired. The main cabin is 12'x12' which is relatively small for a log cabin. However, at the time of building the original cabin, I did not want to 'bite off more than I could chew' when building my first cabin. The extension will add a 10'x12' extension to the front (stream side) of the cabin.
