For more: An unmanned electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft flew successfully for nearly 20 minutes on June 1 in Wuxi City, east China's Jiangsu Province. The event marked the opening of Jiangsu's first eVTOL low-altitude route. A two-passenger version of the aircraft, measuring close to 6 meters in length and width, was used for the flight. Although unmanned, the aircraft has three sets of flight controls, and the power output is divided among 16 propellers. Per reports, it can fly stably even if five propellers malfunction. The Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued type certificate, production license and standard airworthiness certificate for the aircraft. It is currently the only unmanned manned aircraft with all three certificates. An air traffic operations center is under construction in Wuxi. After completion, the aerial tour route will be added to the water and land routes in the area. #china #jiangsu #evtol #aircraft Subscribe to us on YouTube: Download our APP on Apple Store (iOS): Download our APP on Google Play (Android):
