At the beginning of the session, everyone will experience the awakening of the Motherly energy that resides within us all. This energy allows us to enjoy a peaceful state in which we are able to transcend our thoughts and daily concerns. Our musicians will then present a series of spontaneous compositions that will help steady this new subtle awareness and allow us to go deeper into a beautiful state of meditation. This natural state of awareness is one that you never need to pay for or have any previous experience of, in order for you to achieve it. You need to only have a pure desire to know your true Self, your inner Spirit that represents peace, joy, and love for others. We look forward to journeying through this inner awakening and transformation with you! Indian classical vocalist Koushik and bansuri flute player Shaktidhar are both long-time Sahaja Yoga practitioners. Koushik Aithal received his training in Hindustani vocal music from Pt. Parameshwar Hegde. Besides imbibing Pt. Hegde's impressive traits in his music, Koushik has also created a distinct style of his own in his renditions of Khayal, Bhajan, Marathi, Abhang and Natyageet. Shaktidhar started his initial training under Pt. K S Naik for 8 years, after-which he was taught by Pt. Rajendra Prasanna in the traditional Gurushishya Parampara for 9 years. Shaktidhar still continues to learn from Panditji. Both artists have performed across the globe having their work recognised by international prizes and awards. ♡ Some extra reading for you who are interested ♡ ---- Sahaja Yoga meditation ---- Sahaja Yoga Meditation was developed by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. Sahaj means “spontaneous“ or “born with you“ and yoga translates as “union“ (with the Divine all-pervading power). Sahaja Yoga Meditation then translates as “the method of divine union through yoga which everyone is born with“. Kundalini is a subtle spiritual energy that lies dormant in the sacrum bone at the base of the spine in three-and-a-half coils. Through Sahaja Yoga, the Kundalini energy can be awakened spontaneously and effortlessly. This benevolent, nurturing energy, when awakened, passes upward through the nerve plexuses in the body and comes out of the top of the head at the fontanelle bone area. One can feel this energy as a cool breeze above the head, as well as in the palms of the hands. The gentle awakening of the Kundalini energy and the inner journey of self-discovery is known as Self-realization. ---- Free Sahaja Yoga online course ---- Here is the Zoom link to join our free weekly online meditation, every Monday at 19:50 CET Online supporting materials: ---- Get your Self-realisation now ---- You can get your Self-realisation now by following this simple meditation led by Shri Mataji: Warmest welcome to our “Experience Meditation through Music” event!
