The Colombian Navy on Tuesday seized over 3 tons of cocaine after intercepting a speedboat in its Caribbean waters, close to San Andres island. Authorities say they estimate the cargo has a market value of 113 million US dollars and is the largest shipment of cocaine seized in 2024. Five people who crewed the boat were detained; three Colombians, one Honduran, and one Venezuelan.
