50ft 'narco sub' carrying 21m of cocaine seized by Colombian Navy

A 50ft submersible was seized by the Colombian Navy with nearly 800kg of cocaine on board on Sunday 21 January. The 'narco sub' was seized off Colombia's Pacific coast and the haul is thought to be worth more than £21m. Narco cubs are being used increasingly by drugs traffickers as they are harder to detect and can be sunk after use.
