Note: Probably filmed in the Pathe studio. Full titles read: “ROBB WILTON - The famous comedian in 'An Embankment Cameo'“ The comedian and entertainer Robb Wilton dressed as a tramp stands next to a park bench wearing a shabby bowler hat and jacket. On the bench is a woman down-and-out rapped up in blankets. Wilton takes pity on the poor soul he says “one half of the world doesn't know how the other half lives.“ Wilton sits down on the Bench next to the woman and starts to eat a large sandwich and then says “it's the poor that help the poor !“ Wilton stands up and puts the sandwich back in his pocket. He then pulls a his last sixpence. He looks at poor woman then says “I'd be in a right mess if I lost that.“ The woman stands up and trudges wearily away.
