Curve in toward goal and set up for a wrist shot. Right at the moment you shoot, deliver a pass instead to a team member on the opposite side. The goalkeeper’s sideways momentum creates gaps. Try to aim high or low at the nearest post. Protect the ball by keeping it behind your body when curving in. Identify an empty trajectory for the person making the pass and keep an eye on the goalkeeper. Hit the floor with the stick slightly behind the ball. The stick bends and you give your shot extra power.
