Colombia seizes sub carrying $27 million of cocaine

The Colombian Navy has seized a custom-made submarine carrying a staggering 800 kilograms of cocaine. The sub was thought to be bound for Central America, but was intercepted on Sunday off the Colombian coast, and the three men onboard detained. The cocaine is valued at almost $27 million, so we’re not sure the crew are going to be able to get away with claiming it was for ‘recreational use.’
