The Cosmic Origins of Karahan Tepe | Andrew Collins | Origins Conference 2023

Even in the last month, a brand new enclosure, arguably the largest so far unearthed has been reported, within which was found a tall statue, the earliest naturalistic full size human figure ever discovered. Next to it was found a stone vulture, and enormous T-pillars, two of them about tall. What can we say about these remarkable new discoveries? How do they fit into what we know already about the cosmology and alignments already documented at Göbekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe?
