Full title reads: “Kingston. Spread A Little Happiness. Churls indeed - are they whose hearts do not thrill to this happy picture of Chirstmastide at Dr Barnardos Boys' Home.“ Kingston-upon-Thames, near London. A group of young boys from a Dr Barnardos home are lined up outside. A man asks several of the boys what they would like for Christmas. Their gift ideas range from a pocket watch to a motorcar. CU of several of the boys. One of the boys says that he would like Santa Claus to bring him his mother for Christmas. A bagpipe band leads Father Christmas in to the playground.
