Churrasco Picanha with Chipotle Garlic Chimichurri over the fire today 🥩 🌿🔥 For those who do not know, my wife and I bought a house! Which means I was finally able to build myself a firepit in my backyard to cook in more crazy styles. I decided to break in the new pit by cooking Porter Road Picanha on churrasco swords with a Chipotle Garlic Chimichurri. A classic dish to start off a new adventure! Sliced the picanha into steaks then seasoned with oil, salt and pepper. Skewered them onto some churrasco swords then leaned them over my new fire pit. Cooked for about 45 minutes with me flipping them a couple of times. Cooked at a medium heat so to render the fat a little more. Pulled off and let the steaks rest for 15 minutes. Made the chimi with parsley, oregano, garlic, jalapeños, red wine vinegar, my Chipotle Garlic Rub from Spiceology , salt, pepper and olive oil. Mixed that together and lathered it over some of the Picanha. It was quite the cook 👍 🍻 Ingredients: Steak - Picanha, salt, pepper and oil. Chipotle Garlic Chimichurri - 1/2 cup of chopped parsley, 1/8 cup of chopped oregano, 4 cloves of garlic chopped, 1/4 cup of red wine vinegar, 1 jalapeño chopped, 1 tbsp of Chipotle Garlic Seasoning from Spiceology, olive oil salt pepper to taste My Blog: Order my new cookbook here: Find all my rubs here: Subscribe to my channel: Why not follow me else where?
