We got to join the “Death Wobble Club“ with our 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. While troubleshooting, we managed to capture some really cool footage. Our JK's case of death wobble was caused by 3 factors. The steering gear was loose, and in the footage, you can actually see the sector shaft moving side to side. The driver side front upper control arm bushing was damaged at the rear mount, caused by the heat from the exhaust pipe, which runs right next to the arm. The caster was also not in spec. After replacing the gear box, bushing and correcting the caster, our problems were solved. What is causing your death wobble?
