Greetings! Today I wanted to show you lovely Houdini artists out there how to setup the “fireball summoning“ effect shown in the trailer for Doctor Strange 2 Multiverse of Madness. Caveats: 1. The effect is inspired by the trailer. We're not finishing with a production final shot. Focus is on setup. 2. Rendering. I didn't walk through the rendering process. Most artists have their own workflow for this but the end product of the setup will get you what you need for most rendering situations. 3. Project file? No. Don't hate! We all learn by doing the work ourselves. Muscle memory is a good thing. That said, I've taken care to take time to explain things. That's why the video is over 40 minutes long lol. Be well!
