Unboxing Carl Zeiss Milvus 1.4/50mm Distagon ZF.2 for Nikon

This Milvus is heavier than any other normal lens save for the Otus. The quality is definitely there although it does deserve a better quality lens cap. For the price, there is no bonus soft pouch in the box. It would have been nice if the declick function could be performed without dismounting the lens. Finally, I must say I still prefer that inimitable metal feel of the ripped focusing ring of the now “classic“ series, or that of the Voigtlander Nokton 58mm f/1.4 SL-II.
