-Meta Mark Zuckerberg addressed investors asking them to remain patient after Meta Platforms Inc. revealed that it will spend more-than-expected billions of dollars this year as the company plans to increase its AI ’s Elon Musk did the same earlier this week as sales and especially the competition from China caused another slowdown for the car manufacturer. Meta’s sales figures have also plummeted in late trading. Zuckerberg repeatedly stated that future investments in technology will eventually pay off, yet might take more time to unfold. -JPY Momentum The Japanese Yen continues to decline. The lack of hawkish news from the BoJ might also add fuel to the current fire and hence the Yen could weaken further. US interest rates are likely not coming down much as US yields continue to remain at higher figures. Recent comments from Masato Kanda, the key currency strategist in the finance ministry might have traders focused on another key level in the USDJPY currency pair at . -Market Talk Markets continue to search for direction as not much news is currently available this week. The Dollar remains on the weaker side whereas stock markets already start to resume their recent downtrends. Also, crypto markets are shaky again and show signs of potential nervousness. With Gold and Silver remaining in a sideways pattern, precious metals markets might resume their upside soon. In addition, oil prices seem to possibly stabilise before running higher as well. Today, market participants will focus on earnings from Deutsche Bank, Barclays, Swedbank and BNP Paribas. Recent prices suggested potential further upside momentum in banking stocks.
