No matter how hard Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tries to remove the Nazi stain from his job record, it seems to only be getting worse. Since the scandal with an actual Nazi being celebrated in Canada’s parliament broke last fall, Trudeau has consistently maintained that it was entirely the fault of then-speaker Anthony Rota, who invited a 98-year-old Ukrainian-Canadian SS veteran, Yaroslav Hunka, to Parliament Hill. However, yesterday, Trudeau’s office confirmed that not only did the Prime Minister know, but he personally invited Hunka to a separate event on the same day. Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre and Conservative MP Melissa Lantsman are now calling for Trudeau to step down.
