Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre asked the Liberal government during question period in the House of Commons on Wednesday about GC Strategies, an IT firm which received a total of $258 million from the Trudeau government since 2015, according to an Auditor General's report. “One ArriveCAN company received a quarter of a billion dollars in contracts. It’s a company with four employees, headquartered in the basement of a tiny cottage. They got IT contracts even though they admit they do no IT work. A quarter of a billion dollars? W—T—F,” said Poilievre. “In this case, the auditor general has highlighted some very concerning questions that need to be answered,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau replied.
