Deputy Defence Minister Pavel Fradkov inspects development of Plesetsk cosmodrome infrastructure At the instruction of Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov, the deputy head of the Russian defence department inspected construction and modernisation of infrastructure of the Plesetsk 1st state test cosmodrome in Arkhangelsk region. During a working visit to units of the Leningrad MD, the Deputy Defence Minister inspected construction of an assembly and testing building of carrier rockets, social objects of the garrison, as well as efforts on modernising and renovating the current objects in use. Pavel Fradkov inspected the launch complexes of Angara and Soyuz-2 launch vehicles, as well as space rocket assembly complexes and preparation for launch of universal rocket modules, and heard reports from Colonel General Aleksandr Golovko, Commander of Space Forces - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces, and Yaroslav Semenov, Head of the Military Construction Company ...
