Refreshed super trio featuring versatile star players from New York. Will Vinson alto saxophone, Gilad Hekselman guitar, Nate Wood drums The members of Trio Grande 2.0 are all masters of their instruments. Still, the trio is more than the sum of its parts. For example, Will Vinson plays electronic keyboards alongside his trusted alto sax, while Gilad Hekselman has taken on both the guitar and bass parts. The well-received album Trio Grande was recorded with drummer Antonio Sánchez. In Trio Grande 2.0, both bass and drums are played by Nate Wood, who has previously performed here with Kneebody and Donny McCaslin. This fall the refreshed trio from New York will release a new album.
