Creating comprehensive plans using just one phone in your pocket is now a reality. I recently tried merging lidar room scanning with the #iRhino application. This software leverages #iOS's built-in room planner (aka RoomPlan) that analyzes the scanned space and allows object categorization, all within the convenient and familiar Rhino (Robert McNeel and Associates) interface, which, by the way, looks just as good on mobile as it does on a computer. I then imported everything into #Revit (you could also use #Rhino) and, using PlanFinder, I was able to construct several planning options within a few seconds. In this way, I managed to implement a fairly interesting combination using just two programs and apply it in my work. iRhino - PlanFinder - Apple RoomPlan -
