Biography of the band for our English-speaking friends - At the end of the eighties of the XX century, two school friends-classmates (Eagle and Drone), influenced by Western rock bands, decided to assemble their own band - a Damn Dozen. A schoolmate, bassist Evgeny Gusev “Goose“ joins the band. The Damn Dozen is changing its name to Cerberus. The Drone came up with the name, taking it from a Dictionary of Foreign Words. The logo was designed and hand-drawn by him. The band gathered in apartments and entrances of their houses, playing acoustic guitars and chairs. We wrote the first songs on an Electronic cassette recorder. With the purchase of professional musical instruments (EPOIMI, Ural, Aelita), the band goes to rehearse in the auditorium of their native school. After getting to know the members of the Cobra band, Cerber moves to their rehearsal base of the engineering college, on the condition that Cerberus will provide Cobra with his drummer for rehearsals and concerts. With the advent of death metal and grind core styles into the world of heavy music, and after attending the Napalm Death concert in Moscow in 1991, Cerberus chooses these styles as the main directions of his game and becomes the first band in the city of Ivanovo to play music in these styles. #Cerber #Ivanovo #Russia #RussianDeathMetal #RussianMetal #Cerberus #Reanimated #Carve #OldSchoolMetal #GHS #Gnill #90s @cerber_band
