Plantation Boogie ~ Red Foley (1955)

I've been focusing a lot on Red's earlier stuff lately, and I certainly don't want to slight the stuff from later in his career. He stayed consistently good until the time of his death. This side is from 1955 and was released on #Decca #78rpm 29517, the “B” side to “You Little So and So.” This little boogie number was composed by #LennyDee and #VaughnHorton and is still enjoyable 65 years later. You won't hear this on your local “country” station, but Hankfan Hankfan is here with solid country gold all day long!
