Alicia Roth Weigel is a writer, speaker, and change agent, working to improve the landscape for marginalized populations in the South and around the world. In this clip, Roth Weigel comes out as intersex to the Texas Senate to fight against the passing of discriminatory legislation.  “At this point, I had not told my brother, my best friends, and people who have known me my whole life that I'm intersex. On the way to the Capitol is when I called my mom.
