Step inside Atlanta-based designer Beth Webb's Brays Island retreat that she shares with husband (and architect) Chuck Hanavich! Situated on the 8,000 acres that make up Brays Island, the glass house is a mere hour from the lively streets of Charleston and only a stones throw away from Savannah. The remote see-through haven is the perfect example of letting the outdoors dictate the indoors. Architect James Choate of Surber Barber Choate Hertlein Architects designed the house, and made it a goal to ensure every single room in the home had a spectacular view of the sweeping and oh-so-green surrounding. Their closest neighbors include deer, egrets, wood storks, wood ducks, and pink spoonbills! Hanavich built the original portion of the house starting and was originally designed as a one-bedroom house with a loft configuration.
