There have been a lot of people speculating on how I got double jump even though I never completed the red key room. Some of you hit the nail on the head. Once you reach the Neighbor Boss room, the game assumes that you have all abilities beforehand reaching that stage of the game. Since I haven’t completed that room the game just rewards me with double jump at that point, hence why I have double jump without completing that room.
