Galos born Marie Cécile Larreguy on October 27, 1821 in Paris and died on September 4, 1903 in Bordeaux, is a French pianist and composer of the second mid-19th century. She is sometimes called Giselle Galos or Galas. A very beautiful nocturne, The title page on the imslp score says the following in french: “What is this pathetic voice which sings in the evening and moves the most closed hearts? It is a NOCTURNE DE GALOS. No melody is softer and more dreamy under the fingers of the performer; a thousand impressions are not deeper and truer, whether it is to evoke bells in the falling evening or the beauty of a landscape. The works of Galos and consecrated in memoriam are famous throughout the world.
