Sofagate! Von der Leyen chair snub in Ankara causes social media stir

One day after President of European Council Charles Michel and President of European Union Commission Ursula von der Leyen met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, the seating arrangements of the trio's meeting caused a social media stir. During a brief moment, von der Leyen is left standing in another corner of the meeting hall, apparently bewildered over the seating arrangements which had left her without a chair while her male counterparts are seated.
