This 1944 training film made for the US Army shows troops how to use their sidearms in combat. The video focuses mainly on the Colt 1911 but also briefly refers to the revolver a .45 Colt New Service. “Light, easy to handle, effective. The handgun is the ideal weapon for both defensive and offensive close quarter man to man combat.“ The film demonstrates the 3 combat positions taught to US servicemen during World War Two, the two-handed kneeling and prone position and the one-handed intuitive
