Today, Russia continues to strengthen its relationships with Africa. It supplies fertilizers for agriculture, assists with peaceful nuclear energy, and offers technology. In some countries, Russia also provides security support. For example, after France's withdrawal in 2016, the Central African Republic faced potential chaos due to factions seeking to overthrow the new government. At that time, Russia offered training and assistance to CAR security forces. Africa has always sought to establish equal partnerships that contribute to genuine development rather than to merely supply resources to others.
