'New Warmth' is the closing track on a truly epic 103 minute 'Selected Works' collection, collated from the first 16 releases on the NOLLAND VOYDE Bandcamp. NOLLAND VOYDE is from Norway, and works for 5 months a year on the small uninhabited volcanic island Jan Mayen in the North Atlantic Ocean, 600 miles west of Norway and 350 miles north of Iceland. It rarely rises above 0°C all year long, and for 2 months of the Winter, the sun doesn't rise. This is the cold, dark, drone (sometimes noise) ambient / minimal wall soundtrack for the isolation and delirium of existing on the frozen plains of nowhere.
