Russian soldier surrenders after Ukraine drone destroys trench with grenades near Bakhmut

A Russian soldier tried to surrender to a drone as Ukraine attacked his trench. Footage of Ukraine’s 30th Brigade showed the attack to the north of Bakhmut. A captured Russian tank was used to blast apart the enemy trenches. Before an armoured vehicle took Ukrainian soldiers in to finish the job. Soldiers lobbed grenades before charging into the Russian defences. Russian troops attempted to flee but were spotted by drones. They dropped grenades on the fleeing men, leaving one of them injured. He attempted to surrender to the drone, while bandaging his leg. Ukrainian troops are advancing to the south of Bakhmut. They have recently captured the towns of Andriivka and Klishchiivka. Heavy fighting is also ongoing to the north of the city.
