Eleanor Beidatsch is used to overcoming the odds, but even she thought a career in palaeontology would be a bridge to far. The 30-year-old was convinced her passion would only ever be a hobby, but her dreams came true nearly 4,000 kilometres away from her Western Australia home. Eleanor recently graduated with first class honours in geoscience at University of New England (UNE), travelling from Mount Barker in a van to receive her degree in person.
