Vanishing Point ps1 - boring racing with time

realistic car controls with janky arcade physics and bad downhill camera as you cant see shit, graphics is good for ps1, 8 racetracks, there is traffic and enemies but it’s actually racing with time and linear racetracks just boring, you need to play same racetrack for 8 min long and later there is 30min long racetracks with 30 laps, one mistake or random crash and it’s start from beginning because you need to be first to beat heat, very grindy and you must play on cars with bad controls to unlock better cars, there is 3 heat per car and you unlock random stuff after beating heat, most of time you unlocking useless slideshows and movies or secret cars instead of actual main cars, secret cars is just traffic cars and you cannot use them to unlock more stuff, there is stunt mode but you need to grind points here to unlock more stunts, this game loves wasting your time, you need to unlock ford focus and complete heat 2 to unlock rally gp mode, there is dreamcast version and it’s is literally same only car graphics is little better and controls is worse
