Gryllus campestris singing calling song filmed at 120 frames per second. First couple of seconds are normal speed, and you hear the familiar chirping song, then it's slowed down to show the movement of the wings. Each chirp is made of around 4 pulses made by a single movement of one wing over the other. A file on the upper wing is pulled over a scraper on the lower wing making the wings vibrate.
