And now some words about the purpose of this trip – “Notre Dame de Paris”. For me, it’s not just a musical; it’s my inspiration, my affection and my madness at the same time. As Klod Frollo loved Esmeralda, such feelings I have to this production. The performance fleeted in a moment, and after it I felt nothing – full emptiness. It was… I have no words. Fantastic?.. Splendid?.. I don’t know. It was miracle, something unearthly!.. Yes, just fascinating miracle. I admired all the cast, especially men’s part (what about women, personally, Hélène Ségara and Julie Zenatti from the Gold cast are the best for my conservative taste, although Hiba Tawaji and Alessandra Ferrari are, certainly, demonstrated excellent acting and very decent vocal). Angelo Del Vecchio, of course, is as good as Garou, his voice is perfect, and every note is as crystal clear as a drop of dew!
