The DPRK kicked off its first international air show on Saturday at the newly upgraded Kalma International Airport in the eastern coastal city of Wonsan. The two-day event includes aerobatic flying shows and a parachuting display. Tourists also have the opportunity to take a 30-minute aerial sightseeing tour during the festival. Most aircraft on display are Russian-made, including Ilyushin Il-18 passenger planes, Mig-29 and Su-25 jet fighters and Tupolev Tu-154 airliners.
