Today’s Gospel instalment: 05/29/2022 Message Title: 1. Do we void the Law through faith? 2. Through faith we establish the Law Text: Romans 3 vs 31 1. We tackled the matter of the relationship between Law and gospel. 2. The Apostle Paul asked a very important question about Law and faith. 3. To say if it is true that righteousness and life come apart from the Law, what then is the purpose of the Law? 4. Is the Law opposed to the promise of God? No, it is not. 5. The Law was not given to give life, but to prove that life was only a gift that could not be earned. 6. A promise and gift through the faithfulness of Christ who was the cause and bringer of them. 7. The Law then had a purpose, to prove the sinfulness of sin and human inability. 8. So, what is established by faith is NOT CONTINUITY OF THE LAW OF MOSES on the redeemed, but the righteousness that Christ established by His obedience. 9. There is a lot of detail to this message.
