Recorded by Tom Renouf in Musselburgh, Scotland in 1958. Jim Munro, artist and musician, picked some of Scotland's top musicians to play in his combo, in and around Edinburgh and Musselburgh. Isa MacIntyre later Changed her name to Laura Lee and sang with the popular singing trio, 'The Ladybirds' who performed on the Benny Hill show, etc on TV. She had a hit (as Laura Lee) with the pop song, 'Tell Tommy I Miss Him' (YouTube ). Andy Taylor, (reeds), who plays on these tracks went on to have a career with the Sid Laurence Orchestra (YouTube ). Ronnie Rae (bass) has long had a stellar career in jazz and the Rae extended family includes notable musicians and singers. Jimmy Taylor (bass) seen here in the photo, now plays with the Mellotones in the Jazz Bar, Edinburgh.
