In the early morning of Saturday the 6th of June, Beyer-Garratt 6029 ran from Goulburn to Junee in preparation for the Wagga Wagga Shuttles for the weekend. 6029 was assisted by 4501 and 4403 with a 26 car long train which included at a set of Southern Aurora cars. 6029 is currently the largest steam locomotive in the Southern Hemisphere. 6029 has only recently been returned back to service after being out of service since the 1980s.
