In Texas, the police under the command of Sheriff John Quincy Wydell (William Forsythe in another powerful sadistic role) attack the house of the sadistic serial killers Firefly family (. The Devil’s Reject) and they arrest mother Firefly. Otis B. Driftwood and Baby Firefly escape from the siege. Otis and Baby call their boss, the mad clown Captain Spaulding and they schedule to reunite at an isolated motel in the desert. Meanwhile, Sheriff Wydell promises to capture and kill the runaways, seeking revenge for the death of his brother, George Wydell. This film is a tribute to the horror films they made in USA in the 1970:s such as “Last house on the left“, “Texas Chainsaw massacre“ etc and show them to a new audience. Perhaps to Director Rob Zombie, a shock would soon happen: American top critics as well as audience loved this film for its Raw savage power, anti political correctness and anti feminist message so much so, he got to remake Halloween! The 2nd part in a trilogy.
