On Yom Kippur, paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) treated 2,842 people across Israel. Among those injured, three were hurt by the force of a rocket blast in the Western Galilee, and 12 were injured while running to shelters during rocket attacks. The Israel Defense Forces reported 320 projectiles fired from Hezbollah in Lebanon and two rockets from Gaza. MDA also reported treating 286 people suffering from effects of fasting, over 500 individuals hurt while biking, and 283 people involved in car accidents. Among the day’s medical calls, 146 women went into labor, with one baby being delivered in an ambulance. Despite the holy day’s quiet streets, emergency teams were working overtime to keep people safe as the country faced heightened threats from ongoing conflicts. #YomKippur #RocketAttack #IsraelUnderFire #HezbollahRockets #MagenDavidAdom #EmergencyResponse #InjuredInIsrael #MedicalTeams #ConflictInIsrael #IDF #IsraelSecurity #YomKippurWar #HealthcareInCrisis #News #BreakingNews #Now #U
