In this video, we're revisiting a rural line we've seen before in rainy weather on the journey from Vallorbe to Interlaken (link: ). The line links the intersection at Kerzers in the canton of Fribourg with Lyss in the canton of Bern. Lyss is a city along the railway connection between Biel/Bienne and Bern. Just before Lyss, we'll pass through Aarberg, one of Switzerland two large sugar production hubs (the other being in Frauenfeld). What I personally appreciate is the fact that most of the original catenary posts from 1944 are still in use. The old rolling stock parked shortly before Kallnach (9:05) is also interesting.
