Went to a museum called Maritiman in Gothenburg, Sweden. It had old military ships and a submarine for display and as any normal person I brought some radiation detectors, and boy did I strike gold, or better said, radium. Some sources which were in concerning places. The submarine has multiple plates drenched in radium paint. These where used to illuminate pipes and airlocks so crew members would not hit their heads etc. These where spicy. more then the DP-63A scales, so possibly ~10µg of radium? Most where painted over during renovation, easily missed if not walked past with a detector. There was a huge piece, but it had been removed but contamination remained around said spot. The ship too had a bunch of radium items such as knobs, buttons, indicators and gauges, the most spicy of which where two plates of radium paint over some buttons which had been painted over. Could had easily been walked past if it did not make the detectors click like crazy.
